Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero became the club's all-time record scorer in the Premier League and equalled a long-standing feat during the 6-0 thrashing of Chelsea.
Aguero, 30, already City's all-time leading goalscorer, became the club's leading scorer in the league on Sunday, taking his tally in the competition to 160 as he netted a scintillating treble at the Etihad.
The Argentine dusted himself off after an earlier howler, missing from three yards out, to open his account with a 30-yard thunderbolt, rifling the effort into the top corner of Kepa Arrizabalaga's net.
His second was his usual predator's instinct in the area, profiting from a Ross Barkley error, before he eventually netted a third from the spot in the second-half as Chelsea fell to their heaviest defeat since losing 7-0 against Nottingham Forest in April 1991.

His second hat-trick in three games, following his heroics against Arsenal earlier this month, has now taken him to 11 league hat-tricks, level with Premier League legend Alan Shearer.
