Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Siphelele Ntshangase has welcomed the recent sentiments of club teammate Khama Billiat and confirmed that the feelings are mutual.
A few weeks ago, Billiat publicly declared his enjoyment of playing ahead of Ntshangase, whom he said he shares a great understanding with in terms of their movements and combinations.
The Zimbabwean has struggled to maintain his scoring form since the turn of the year, suggesting perhaps that the absence of Ntshangase has played a part therein.
The 25-year-old playmaker has since commented on their partnership but refused to disregard the bond he shares with his fellow midfielders Pule Ekstein and George Maluleka.
“Yeah, each and every player that you play with, there’s certainly a different understanding. With Khama feeling that I’m the kind of player that he really enjoys playing with, I’d take it as a compliment,” Ntshangase told KickOff.com.
“It’s easy to play with someone like Billiat because of his movement off the ball. But I do also enjoy playing with Pule and George.
“Though, in terms of personal styles, it’s quite different because, when playing with George and Pule, they are the types of players that are comfortable and like being on the ball. But I do enjoy playing with them too.”
Personally, the former Black Leopards star feels he has been lacking one aspect in his game in recent times and will be hoping to improve thereon with time.
“I haven’t been taking shots, I think that’s one thing that lacks in my game right now,” he noted.
