Santi Mina inspired top-four hopefuls Valencia to victory over Levante, while Rayo Vallecano’s chances of escaping relegation were dented after going down to Athletic Bilbao in a five-goal thriller in LaLiga.

Valencia 3-1 Levante

Santi Mina scored a brace as Valencia cruised to a 3-1 victory over Levante on Sunday evening at Estadio De Mestalla.

Mina grabbed the lead for the hosts as early as the second minute and Levante were level in the 56th minute thanks to an own goal by Carlos Soler.

Goncalo Guedes restored the lead for Valencia a minute later before Mina sealed the three points in the 63rd minute and completed his brace in the process.

Real Valladolid 2-2 Getafe

Jorge Molina netted a penalty deep in stoppage time for Getafe to salvage a 2-2 stalemate against Real Valladolid at Estadio Municipal Jose Zorrilla.

Mauro Arambarri got the opener for the visitors in the 14th minute while Sergi Guardiola equalised for Valladolid on the half-hour mark.

Mathias Olivera got his second booking for Getafe in the 62nd minute and the hosts were awarded a penalty seven minutes later that was converted by Enes Unal to take a 2-1 lead.

However, Molina struck deep in second-half stoppage time also from the penalty spot to salvage a point for ten-man Getafe.

Athletic Bilbao 3-2 Rayo Vallecano

Inaki Williams scored a brace for Athletic Bilbao as they edged ten men Rayo Vallecano 3-2 on Sunday afternoon at San Mames Barria.

Williams grabbed the lead for Athletic in the second minute while Alex Moreno brought parity for the visitors on the stroke of halftime.

Williams restored the lead for the hosts five minutes after the break to complete his brace before Rayo's Luis Advincula recieved his second yellow card two minutes later for Rayo and was sent off.

Raul Garcia restored the two-goal advantage for the hosts in the 72nd minute while Raul de Tomas reduced the deficit to 3-2 for Rayo five minutes before time but Athletic held on to victory.

Real Sociedad 1-1 Eibar

Joan Jordan scored late for Eibar to salvage a 1-1 stalemate against Real Sociedad on Sunday afternoon at Estadio Municipal De Anoeta.

Juanmi grabbed the lead for the hosts inside the first minute of the game and it took Eibar 84 minutes to find the equaliser through Joan Jordán.

Girona 0-1 Villarreal

Villarreal boosted their survival hopes with a narrow 1-0 victory over Girona on Sunday evening at Estadi Municipal De Montilivi.

Samuel Chukwueze scored the only goal of the match for the Yellow Submarine in the seventh minute to clinch all the three points that moved them two points clear of the relegation zone.
