SA Players Abroad: Ayanda Patosi, Dino Nldovu, Kgotso Masangane shine, Zungu & Tau returning to fitness

Ayanda Patosi and Dino Ndlovu maintained their rich vein of from abroad, while there was a first professional goal for promising attacker Kgotso Masangane.

Kurt Abrahams

Abrahams made his 23 start of the season in Westerlo's 2-0 away loss to Charleroi, denting their hopes of the UEFA Europa League qualification.

The promising attacker has scored seven goals an registered four assists this season.

Keanin Ayer

The 18-year-old put in a solid shift at right-wing-back for 65 minutes and Varberg romped to a 5-1 victory over Syrianska. The result moved Varberg into first-place with three wins from three in the Superettan.

Thabo Cele

The South Africa U-23 midfielder played in Friday’s 1-0 away win over Sporting Braga B.

Cele has now made 20 starts for Cova da Piedade this season, scoring one goal.

Liam Jordan

Jordan made his 24th star in Sunday’s 1-1 home draw with Fremad Amager - which saw KB Koge drop to eighth place in the Danish second-tier.

Kobamelo Kodisang

Amajita starlet Kodisang was afforded his 21st start of the season in the Portuguese third-tier as Sanjoanense drew 1-1 away to Pedras Rubras.

Khanya Leshabela 

The teenager came on after 71 minutes of Sunday's 6-0 home loss to Liverpool U23s.

Mihlali Mayambela 

The 22-year-old grabbed an assist for Farense in Sunday's 3-1 home win over Estoril and received a yellow card.

Lebogang Moloto 

Came off after 64 minutes during Saturday’s 2-0 home win over Memphis 901 - moving Nashville FC to third place after five games.

Lebo Mothiba/Lebo Phiri

On the bench for Racing Strasbourg as they drew 3-3 with Guimgamp, Lebo Phiri was suspended. 

Dino Ndlovu 

The Bafana Bafana striker scored his fourth goal in five games in Sunday’s 3-2 home win over Sichuan Longfor, moving Hangzhou Greentown into fourth place in the Chinese League One.

Kgosi Ntlhe 

Played in Rochdale's 1-0 away win over Accrington Stanley, giving them a huge boost for survival in League One this season.

Ayanda Patosi 

After his AFC Champions League heroics last week, Patosi netted a 99th minute winner for Esteghal in the Iran Gulf Pro League to put them back in contention for a thrilling title-race. 

The former Lokeren midfielder has scored four goals and registered three assists in seven games since leaving the Absa Premiership.

Thibang Phete

Came off after 68 minutes of his 29th appearance of the season for Victoria Guimaraes B as they lost 5-2 away loss to Acádemico de Viseu.

Kabelo Sekgota 

The 21-year-old continued his integration into the Vitoria Setubal side within the Primeira Liga, coming on for his fourth appearance after 64 minutes in a 4-2 away loss to champions Benfica.

Thulani Serero 

An ever-present figure for Vitesse Arnhem, Serero produced another composed display in midfield during their 0-0 away draw with Utrecht and received a yellow card in his 33rd start of the Eredivisie season.

Kabelo Seriba/Kgotso Masangane

Masangane, 20, only joined the Virsliga side in March from Zone Mavo FC but has featured three times already for FS Metta.

On Sunday he netted his first professional goal during a 3-0 win over Spartak.

Seriba, 21, played the full 90-minutes in yet another industrious display at right-wing back.

Luther Singh

Sent-off in Friday’s 2-2 home draw with Belenenses during his 13th start during his loan spell in the Portuguese the top-flight for GD Chaves.

Percy Tau

The Bafana Bafana star returned to fitness but was opted for a bench role in order to prevent further setbacks. 

Tau was introduced in the 58th minute of Saturday’s 1-0 away win over KV Kortijk in the UEFA Europa League qualifiers.

Joel Untersee 

Played in Sunday’s 1-0 home loss to Young Boys for his sixth start in the Swiss top-flight for FC Zurich.

Lars Veldwijk

The 27-year-old played the full 90 minutes as Sparta suffered a shock 4-1 defeat to FC Oss in the Eerste Divisie.

Bongani Zungu

The former Sundowns midfielder came on after 61 minutes during Amiens 0-0 draw away to Dijon as he continued his steady return to full fitness.
